Dr Grace Robinson offers her independent opinion on numerous aspects of Modern Slavery and the illicit drugs economy. This includes: forced labour, criminal exploitation, debt bondage, county lines drug supply, drug supply network and hierarchies, and cuckooing. She has assisted on a number of modern slavery/human trafficking and county lines cases, which have led to acquittals at - or pre - trial. In September 2020 she completed Bond Solon Expert Witness Training and is accredited by Cardiff University as a Criminal Expert Witness. We conduct commissioned research with expertise in youth crime, gangs, county lines drug supply and child criminal exploitation. Using qualitative and quantitative research methods, our research is carried out in co-operation with industry and business and adheres to strict ethical guidelines. Based upon empirical academic research, we offer one-to-one or group training for practitioners wanting to extend their knowledge and improve practices when working with young people affected by violence, gangs, drugs and criminal exploitation. Our workshops explore the socio-economic and political factors driving young people into criminality and equip practitioners with the tools to holistically safeguard exploited children and their families. Some of our workshops include: Gang Awareness, Exploring Child Criminal Exploitation and County Lines, and Understanding Trauma and Youth Violence. We also offer bespoke packages upon request.
