Kieran Walsh
Position Expert Witness
Kieran is a registered expert with the Human Trafficking & Modern Slavery Expert Directory, possessing extensive experience in human trafficking, modern slavery and homelessness. From 2017 to 2022, he served as Operations Manager for the Salvation Army’s Anti-Trafficking and Modern Slavery Operations department, providing support to potential victims and collaborating with governmental agencies to mitigate child exploitation.
As a trained First Responder, Kieran managed numerous referrals into the National Referral Mechanism (NRM) and contested decisions lacking merit. Previously, from 2000 to 2014, Kieran was the Northwest Regional Manager for Depaul UK, overseeing projects for young people and those leaving care. He worked closely with Local Authorities and Greater Manchester Police to address child sexual exploitation in the region, contributing to working groups focused on prevention and support.
